Research interests: new media, online journalism, impact of internet communities on political decisions, online activism, online protests, online communities, social media, social movements online

Publications: Lokot’s publications include articles in academic journals “Magisterium. Journalism” (issue 22, 2006) and “Creative and organizational peculiarities of the functioning of the modern media sphere: Ukrainian experience” (conference proceedings).
